Seen any good science lately?

October 29, 2012

Some of our visual learners need more than a diagram or chart to understand complex content. Enter the recommendations from the folks at movie physics. Using films like Back to the Future III, Speed, and 2001: A Space Odyssey, teachers can illustrate “good physics” and “bad physics” and have students conduct mini-labs based on their observations. Not every student will be able to explain the “why” and “what” of each scene but some likely will and you may even have a few learners who can bring examples from other films into subsequent lectures.
