Seurat in 3D

September 26, 2011

Introduce George Seurat with the art activities shared by Nadene at Practical Pages. Here you will find a great lesson idea involving the creation of a 3D model of one of Seurat’s painting (using blankets, small dolls, and legos). Check out the many other activities on this site as well such as how to make a painting puzzle or how to enlarge images to design a collaborative mural.

I love the idea of using these ideas to differentiate. Don’t want to paint? Make a model. Don’t want to make a model? Work on a mural. Don’t want to make a mural? Design your own puzzle. And so on…

Thanks for your link to my blog and your kind comments! I think that homeschooling lends itself perfectly to differentiation and that is what makes the learning so satisfying and delightful!
