A glimpse of history

December 8, 2010

Seeing is believing and, for some students, seeing may be understanding. At allofme.com, students can view and create timelines populated with photographs and other visuals. They can record and chart goals they reach in sports or other competitions, their academic accomplishments, or even their personal histories in general. The site allows the user to view the timelines by year, month, week, or even by the minute.

These timelines are a great tool for visual learners. They can also serve as a helpful assessment tool. Students can chart how many books they read in a given month or how many math facts they have mastered from week to week. IEP goals might even be charted in this way.
