The periodic table for visual learners

October 28, 2010
If you have not yet seen The Periodic Visuals site, you will want to visit today. Even if you don’t teach science you will find this project intriguing (and you are likley to learn something new about one or more of the elements). Each one of the 118 elements on the periodic table has its own video. So many students who struggle in science need exactly this type of support. Some will react to the humor in the clips. Others will enjoy seeing some of the experiments that they might not be able to see in a classroom setting. And others will profit from the great illustations and explanations offered throughout the videos.

Some clips are better than others but the team is in the process of updating them now so stay tuned for even more explosions and examples.
